Manchester University Wind Orchestra
What is MUWO?
MUWO is the MUMS non-auditioned wind ensemble. MUWO welcomes players of all abilities into the orchestra, and play a range of repertoire from Holst, to Bernstein, to more modern pieces! Rehearsals are held weekly and led by the MUMS conductors, and result in various performances throughout the term. A highlight of the MUWO performance calendar is NCBF, where in the 23/24 academic year MUWO achieved the Platinum award.

Rehearsals
Rehearsals are held every Wednesday from 7-9pm. They take place in the Cosmo Rodewald Concert Hall in the Martin Harris Centre. MUWO rehearsals are laid-back and enjoyable, suitable for all wind players.
